Vocational Training

Since our establishment in 2009 EPSA has successfully provided vocational training and skills development to over 500 women who are living with disabilities. For women to be disabled is to be shun from society. Often they are forced to live inside their house to avoid suffering from violence and multiple forms of discrimination from society. Often they also get neglected by their own families.  The ultimate goal of EPSA is to train and empower women with disabilities. We accept women with disabilities regardless of their social background, education, cast or religion. EPSA Nepal consists of a skill development training hall and a production center, where we have been offering skill training and vocational training in felting, knitting, paper craft and sawing.

They come from different parts of Nepal and most of them have been sadly neglected by their own families. At EPSA they not only benefit from a safe living and working space but they also find joy and comfort in each others company and are able to share and exchange their stories of hardship and sorrow.
