Committee Members of EPSA Nepal

EPSA was founded in 2009 by Sangita Pant, a young and energetic woman with disability who applied the business model to empower and assist other women with disabilities.

Following an accident during her childhood, and because of the lack of health facilities at her village in the Gorkha District, Sangita became physically challenged when she was only 7 years old.

Sangita holds a degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. She also gained significant experience in working for an INGO and later, for a national disability organisation. After a training opportunity in Japan, she decided to start her own NGO.

Her dedication and versatility allowed her to meet many challenges, both as a social worker and as a designer, and enhance the lives of many other disabled women.
